It has been a big week for tutocity with our last 2 tutorials making the home page of www.good-tutorials.com and one of our designs was featured on deviantart. We hope to continue our recent success with our next group of tutorials that will be releasing soon.

We are currently working on setting up a comment module for our tutorials so that we can start getting some feedback from you guys!

Full Photoshop Website Design

Step 4: Now create a new layer and call it "BgGradient" and move it below the "Border" layer in the layers palette. Select the "Gradient tool" and copy the settings below.

NOTE: Make sure you choose "Foreground to transparent" and "Radial gradient"

1st we will be making the top gadient like in the image below. Start the gradient from about 100 pixels above your document and drag it down untill it is about 3 quarters of the way down your document. You should end up with something like below.

Now create a new layer and call it "BgGradient-2" and make another smaller gradient and place it in one of the bottom corners. Duplicate the "BgGradient-2" and move it over to the other corner. Your image should now look something like below.

Step 5: The next step is to add your sites name in the top left corner. I just used a simple arial font with crisp antialiasing but you can use something a bit more fancy if you like. This is how mine turned out.

Step 6: Now we are going to create our menu. Select the "Rectangular marquee tool" and change its style to "Fixed Size" and copy the settings below.

Create a new layer and call it "MenuBg" and move it to the very top of the layers pallete. Now with your "Rectangular marquee tool" place it just about the top right of your photo like in the image below. Change its opacity to about 7%. Your image should now look something like below.

Remember you can click on the image below to see it in full size!
